Truffle hunt and luncheon

One of the best ways to discover the fascination of the black perigord truffle is to join us on a hunt followed by a truffle lunch.
Begin to understand some of the mystic surrounding truffles as you trail truffle dog paws and watch them display their olfactory skills. Once the dogs discovers the heady truffle aroma emanating from the soil they indicate the position of the buried treasure. After assessing the aroma for ripeness we then proceed to unearth the truffle.
After the hunt your taste buds are about to sample one of the world’s most sort after flavours. Your journey from “paddock to plate” commences. It’s now time to sit back, relax and enjoy a leisurely 3 course truffle luncheon in warm rural surrounds.
