After arrival take a leisurely stroll to Macenmist’s function centre. Meet the truffle dog guide you will follow in search for the truffle. After smelling the aroma that permeates the soil we harvest the truffle. Then from frosty start we return to a cosy atmosphere where we partake of a warm beverage and taste the delicate truffle canapes. You can then watch how to clean and grade truffles and learn something of the mystic that surrounds them.
Macenmist encourages cellar door sales of its produce together with locally produced goods from the region.
